THE WORST BETI TO THE BEST PARIVAAR

Ahlaam Ameen 2006 (Kerala)

THE WORST BETI TO THE BEST PARIVAAR

What is wrong in her
What is the problem with her

Is it that she needs a shoulder to cry and a lap to lean on

Is it that she hopes and does what she feels is for her

Is it that she gulp all her pain inside her that you people find it her carelessness

Is it that her tears are so priceless that not even a single eye turned up to know the reason

Is it that she is a she and not a he, that she isn’t worth the happiness in her dreams

Is it her problem that every time she is stabben with a knife on her heart, she hides the deeply cut wound and smiles and loves again

And as she writes this poem
Does she become the worst beti to the best parivaar?

About this poem

Beti means daughter, Parivaar means Family. This is a poem written by an indian girl during her hard days as she has no one to share her sorrows with rather than words. It is a glimpse of heaven on earth and is willing to become the voice of many other women out there

I am a girl born in the heaven of earth living in Oman. As I started growing up , I could see the fault in the heaven and having no one else having to share it with , I would like to take this piece of my heart to the world anonymously more…
