Late Night Wine
Late night wine at a bar,
Conversation with a stranger from the stars,
Sighting her from a distance in the crowd afar;
I have nothing left to use or do or loose.
Stepping in from the night as if into an asylum,
All seems lost;
A reading of your eyes says it all,
Welcome to my world;
I need some company by my side after all.
I've been drinking alone all night long.
I do not desire a one-night stand
Otherwise, I would have taken a chance.
I only desire to roll and ride,
Until my stress slide.
Let's reconcile our body in a ballroom dance.
Hand chaining hand in bondage,
Your right hand, holding my shoulder left hostage,
And my left, weaved round your pretty whole waist,
Let's heal our souls side to side.
How long have we known in the dead of this night?
'One or two hours' long, I guess.'
Yet long enough to forget we've never met until tonight;
Long enough to forget we've always been clueless of our existence.
The world, too cruel for a place,
And life, not fair for a play,
Everyday is a duel;
Even fate can be cruel.
Strained by a burden of cares,
Barely do I have the guts to dare.
But moving your hips around me makes me relax;
I love your dance attacks.
Serve me a tasty gulp of your body like fine wine,
Roll it once, roll twice.
As the speakers blare down
Selena Gomez 'Slow down,'
Bathing in the disco lights,
Loosing ourselves to this frenzy night,
Our faces slightly touching, I'm blazing!
'Breathe me in, breathe me out, so amazing!'
As the night hits a new peak,
Let's hang our self-control on the beat of the music;
Minding not the lyrics,
Let’s ride on the wave of the rhythm.
Snatched by this winged euphoria, in its claws,
Let us soar to the land of those without laws.
Perhaps, we will be free,
Free from the hurts we feel.
Let's keep dancing, none stop!
Keep on going.
Let's keep dancing, none stop!
Until the morning comes.
