Woman

People always put women down irrespective of caste and race,
They don't see anything except their sexuality and face.
Things at last are now falling into place,
They don't know that I am the best, just like an ace.

I strive through the hardships not falling to anyone's shade,
My words which were timid are now as sharp as a blade.
I am my first priority nothing less than the queen of spades,
Yeah the queen now rules with no masquerade.

I'm not a lioness whom you can tame,
I'm a slithering snake sucking your life in the same frame.
I've nothing to claim but success and possession that I can name,
I'll now put the ones who condescended me to shame.

The tale old as time will be changed with the way it's told,
Now the era of women rises and the chapters long lost unfold.
They would move the gallant hearts being fierce and bold,
She burns and rises as a phoenix and she catches an eye with the soul as pure as gold.
