Wildflower

Wildflower

Beautiful and strong, that’s what she is
Strong-willed and determined, a fighter to achieve her dreams
Obstacles and struggles may come her way
But she is bigger and bolder than the problems that she may face

“Oh my dear little flower”, her mother exclaimed,
“you’re a girl, you’re not supposed to do anything like this”
“but mother I can do it, don’t you see?”
“Oh my darling, all I can see is the danger that it may bring”

No one can see her potential
Even her family and friends don’t believe that she is special
Surely, she’s losing all hope and motivation
But remember, she’s a wildflower and nothing can stop her from being an achiever!

She has to go, of course she has to
Far far away to achieve her goals so she has to put her plans in action
But one day she’ll come back like she said “I SHALL RETURN”
To make everyone see that you can achieve whatever you want and dreams don’t care about your gender

About this poem

This poem is all about encouraging girls to pursue whatever they want in life. Your family and friends must not be a hindrance in achieving that goal, in reaching that dream. This poem is all about encouraging girls to achieve their dreams in life whatever they may be because dreams don't care about gender. If you feel that its for you and you work hard for it then you can achieve it because you are a WILDFLOWER.
