Where is me
Merna Aziz 1998 (Fayoum)
Who am I ?
Am I the polite one that show politeness to be respected from people
Or am I the rude one that attract people with his rudeness
Or am I the mental one that tried to show that he is so clever
Or am I the stupide one
And there is much more
I have created many of me
But which one of them is me?
Which one of them is the real me?
I had played many characters for years
That I can't remember
I can't remember how the real me was like
Does the real me was that bad?!
Did it deserve to be forgotten like this?
I can't remember
All I can remember
Is trying to be accepted from people
I tried to be like them so they can accept
me
Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But where is me ?
There is no me any more
I can see many of these characters that I had created
They are standing in circles around me
They are so many
And so different
How can I be all of them?
Maybe me is one of them
But if he is one of them
How will I know him ?!
I can remember nothing about him
Or is it even still here?
Is it even one of them?
I had refused me and I wanted other people to accept him
I won't create more characters
I don't want to be accepted anymore
I just want me
I just want to find me
I wish one day I can find him
