WHAT WAS BUILT IN ME

Whenever I hear an owl hooting
I run for my dear life as I know the ground is ready to swallow yet another loved one
Time is always up for some one
Tears flow down from our eyes as we sing we shall meet again

When I see green leaves on the road
I burst into tears
I know that someone is being moaned
Then we go on our knees praying for the departed to rest in peace

When I hear the sound of a drum
Tension creates itself
For we know we should immediately attend the meeting at the palace
The king demands our presence
The same drum alerts us that beer has been brewed
Then wes seat at home waiting for our drunk brothers

Whenever we see a snake with two head we have to avoid it instead of killing it
As it is believed that it is from the spirits
It was built in me that when we drop food whilst eating we should not pick it as it is a sacrifice for the spirits
