trying

Adhiraa 2008 (Bangalore)

I stand by the beach,
with my hair in the wind,
my foot glued to the sand.
I stare at the ocean, afraid.
For what I know, once I'll go away,
there is no coming back.
But come back to what?
Come back to where?
I'm so afraid to try,
so afraid to be me and discover I'm wrong.
But how can anyone be wrong,
in a world of learning?
Fearful, I stare at the ocean,
waves crashing.
While I don't have the strength to live my life,
I let the wind, slowly, take my fear away.
