Free verse
Lost in a sea of heads
Struggling to find my stead
'Twill be cold again tonight
Courage seems away from sight
The fog beclouds my will to fight
But I refuse to despair
Life itself is not all fair
Thoughts of you shall be my cloak
The warmth of your love I'll soak
To make me solid as an oak

This poem describes the feelings of an international student from Africa in the first few weeks of school in a cold European country.
