To be continued...

Archana Naik 2004 (Odisha)

At times, I feel like the worst...
Like a clarity blunt under frost...
No, I m not betrayed and flattered...
Still I do feel so shattered...
Before the beginning it often ends...
A pinch of ecstasy a bit of misery it blends...
Random get the thoughts and actions are in awful hurry...
Don't know it's my timid anger or strength of fury...
And then people ask me,"Are you all right?"...
I don't know what to say so I walked quite...
Cause words are often misunderstood...
And my silence is not taken as something good...
As I walked straight but the road had a divergence...
"You can afford only one!" from my pocket, jiggled the pence...
So the journey is still on...
At horizon cheers the sun at dusk & dawn...
Penning things down on my run...
So my children get stories when I m done...
And stories are passed down the dynasty...
Some have happy endings while others seem nasty...
Cause perhaps some novels are complete..
While others just run out of ink and sheet...
And those who say leaving a story at half is kind of rude...
I just say "patience my dear" ,
It's to be continued....
