Silence Between The Words

In the mirror, another mirror
In my reflection, another reflection
Surrounded by leaves
Stood alone in the center

Void, not only silence - not even words
Into the face an infinite end
Mirror in the mirror
No identity remains, existence left body behind

A horrible silence or maybe quieter than it
Brain without thought, a bird without home.
Endless sky, a vast self inside
A tiny body, a little brain, a fragile heart, a burnt soul.

Shrieks, shrieks - no words though sounds,
Yet the leaves were charming - beautiful.
The quiet wind between shrieks, a high pitched silence
A never ending pain, an ever going fire.

About this poem

This poem is about the anxiety and strangeness one feels when his own personality unfolds in front of him. A war happens within and silence wins in the end.
