Only her I have known

It is only her I have known. Seldom am I alone.

Her presence is near, the delinquent in me disappears.
Her gaze fades me away, the craving quenched.

It is only her I have known. Seldom am I alone.

Her thoughts make we wonder, fly to the bright blue yonder. Her eyes take me away, oh wavering flames quenched.

It is only her I have known. Seldom am I alone.

Her smile takes me miles away to the deep woods, the promises to keep. And when you weep, oh querida, it is me who softly mewls.

If you go away now, the seldom will not be.
If you weep now, the promises will not be.
If you smile now, the woods will be lovely still.

Only her I have known.
