Covid, you are the darkness in my soul

Covid you are the darkness in my soul, you launched a missile that destroyed my soil
You are the wings that devour my breath, just like a hyena laughing to a lion’s death
My emotions was turned into sadness, even though it hasn’t experienced happiness
My only goal was to be happy, but you took that away from every part of me

A person’s esophagus, is another pathogen’s meal
Like how the white blood cell protects the body, because it has to heal.
Everybody needs to live their lives, like a cell who works all day just to survive
Unlike us, you don’t have shelter; we can share it to you for free
But you’re a virus so you must leave us be

I’m sorry for barging in like this; I just wanted to be accepted
Unlike you, you have a family to accompany you but we are not related.
I’m just a filthy skunk who destroyed your home
Because that’s what I was created for and that I will do on my own.
