Break the Bias

Allow this faint voice of mine to speak.
For I am left with no choice,
but for myself be the voice.
I am the voice unheard,
injustice upon me inferred.

Gender equality is scarce
placing humanity to farce.
Who is man and who is woman?
Like man, woman is human;
lesbian, gay and bisexual all alike.

Allow me to proclaim the callous truth
of splendid patriarchy and hierarchy.
Of women's progress they talk
And do to the fullest, oppress!
Stereoptye triumph: such a tragic victory!

Let us put to flame, misogyny and transphobia.
Liberate them all from structural burdens.
Let us nurture emancipation and prune empowerement
For they are the keys to the door of equality.

Break the bias if we must progress
Or we progress not at all!
