One piece at a time

Oh hello dear do you need a moment of time?
I can steal it from whats left of my life.
I’ll make a deal with the man in black,
Just please hand me that knife.
I’ll cut you a piece of this bleeding heart,
Just throw it away when your done.
Don’t worry when I’m falling apart,
I learned a long time ago how to run.

Oh hello sweetheart are you in pain,
I can shoulder that so you can breath again.
I need nothing in return it’s just a little stain,
It’s just a little piece of this bleeding heart friend.
I’ll give you the strength you are lacking,
I’ll keep all your secrets till the end.
I know all your stress keeps stacking,
But stay with me tonight and I’ll teach you how to bend.

Oh hello angel is the hurt too much,
I can splint and mend your broken wing.
For as long as you need I can be your crutch,
Here is my soul it should lessen the sting.
I swear I can heal you with just one touch,
I can be your antidote, your everything.
The hurt you feel now could fade away,
Let me show you what I could bring.

Oh hello darling are you feeling like saying goodbye,
I can give you the last breath in my lungs.
I can make sure you will live forever and never die,
And only remember me as a ladder rung.
That you climb to a better love,
Away from this car wreck of our lives.
My wishes for you are hidden in these lines,
I am spiraling every day and night into a crash drive,
I will do anything to make sure you feel fine.
I will destroy ever part of my heart and soul,
And use it to save you one piece at a time.
