Haunted by the ghosts of autumn
Sleepless summer days
Worlds gone numb
And feelings from
Reality’s far away

Lives are dreams
And belief is false
Philosophy’s embrace
And that which awaits
But what Descartes sought

When time has stopped
And I can rest
Winter worn
And spring torn
All can only be guessed
