Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

This is my lover; this my friend
O Daughters of Jerusalem
Why should I not trust and be sure?
To wait for what he has in store
To watch intently so I’ll see
The blessings he has planned for me

I will not doubt; I will not fall
But to his feet, my all in all
God is the one I love this much
More than my life, to feel his touch
Our Father in heaven is what he is
But he’s just Daddy to his kids

Invisible God, Almighty, Mighty LORD
There’s nothing that he can’t afford
