Hear and Obey

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

An index to subjects in the word of the Lord.

When Jesus calls we won’t put him on hold
Instead we will listen; we’re not strong, but bold

If we want to be strong we must hear from the Lord
So, we won’t go away but we’ll stay in his Word

This is the command that I’ve heard so I follow
I’ll eat from the scroll; I’ll chew it and swallow

So then when I’ve died I’ll enter his rest
I will do what is right and I’ll see what is best

If anyone wants to be blessed in this way
He must to listen to God so he won’t go stray!
