Spring

C. L. Kimble 1958 (USA)

Spring has sprung
Bright colors all around
See all the pretty flowers
pop up from the ground
The trees are filled with baby birds
their songs now fill the air
They sing and sing all through the day
as if they have no care
The rain has washed the earth for us
to make it nice and clean
Now all the kids come out to play
on grass that is so green
It makes me warm and happy
with the sunshine on my face
While watching Mother Nature
and her changes taking place.
