Never loved

The never loved are never mourned
They are those forever scorned
Let me sleep the final sleep
I offer death my soul to reap
I have no wish to linger here
In sadness, pain and endless fear
No pity do I want from you
Your tears, if any, will be few
I’ve only parting words to say
Then let my soul be on its way
Be it known this is my choice
That this life ends, I now rejoice
To those I may have loved, goodbye
These are tears of joy I cry
