A Mutual Effortless Process

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

There is quite a difference between,
Getting attention.
And bringing it to give...
A subject or situation.
Most will overlooked purposely to ignore.
Or hopefully to continue to go unmentioned.

There is a difference.
Since someone not seeking,
For themselves attention to get.
May prefer the subject or situation,
Left as is to prioritize a meaning meant.
With content.
Most would purposely prefer to ignore.
Yet...
Confronted to have it mentioned.
Could and would at times like these,
Be perceived...
As a doing of it,
Had the intention to get attention anyway.

And yet...
Either or,
Or neither nor...
Would still apply to satisfy,
The doing.

'So...
For clarity reasons,
Is the getting or giving of an attention...
The focus to wish it obtained?'

'That depends.'

'On what?
If you don't mind me asking.'

'It all depends,
On which explanation...
You would rather accept to avoid confusion.
But remember this,
Giving anything attention just to do it done...
To expect benefits of it to come?
May not achieve,
Whatever it is...
You anticipate to await it happening!'

'What is this all about?'

'Getting from others to want it given.
And giving to them without seeking to get.
To leave an exchange,
That is eventually determined to be...
Both mutual and effortless in the process.'

'A what?'

'A process that is mutual.
In an effortless exchange to know it done.
It is not always in the getting,
That pleases more the giver!'
