I am me,
I certainly don't have everything figured out for myself, but I keep pushing on.
somedays I feel worthless; other days i press on with fake smiles and pleasantries.
Somedays, I like to wear the aura of happiness and create a silver lining.
I'm at a crossroad
I do not want to bear this load,
I am me
Do I keep pressing? or be the better version of myself
I want to wake up someday and be the star I was meant to be:
because I AM ME

About this poem

I wrote this poem because it is a journey to self discovery and there is no one else that can be me and i can only be the best version of myself.
