Today Heaven gained another angel, your wings glow white and bright.
Our hearts are torn apart, but at least you're at peace now, no longer in pain.
You will now be watching down from us from your new home up above.
Anytime we see a cardinal, we know it's your love.
Rest easy now, don't be afraid, we will be okay.
