Golgotha

Sabrina Tolve 1984 (Potenza)

I return from my exile to your mountains
Unique Golgotha sprinkled with snow
And it is a painful and sad silence

It is weeping denied, black abyss
Made of rivers, flowers, sharp cliffs
Of inertia and tragic misery.

Always as it was,
The same hate and the same anger
Limb into my bosom.

About this poem

I wrote this poem in my hometown in Italy - a place that I love and a place that I am angry with, tenderly.
