Flight and flutter
Sin and shutter
Float like a bird on the breeze

Flip and flap
But mind the gap
For only death is of ease

God looks on our sorrow song
Though though the lesson is too long
My soul burns and sings

Find the rope
Loose all hope
Fly On Silver Wings

I wish God would give me my Silver Wings

All of life is just a play,
So rise and sing hooray
For I am but the jester

My mind aslip
I’m losing grip
As my soul lies now to fester

I wish God would give me my Silver Wings
