Could I live without my Mother?

Soliloquy
My mother is fifty five
One day she won't be here to hear me cry
about my pathetic, waste-o’-life
When the day comes for her to fall away.
A mass will freeze within my brain.
from joy again, I may abstain.
When the day comes for her to leave
I’ll leave it to my sister
to sort through her things.
