Grave Pretty Mistakes
Hurting you was not the plan
The glass, you gazed at, told you lies
The plan was not a stunt
Cozy relationship, colludes with conspiracy
We were good together
We were terrible in sin
No mercy in sight
condemnation holds sway
Grave pretty mistakes
I am lost, out of control;
kicked out like a criminal!
Exit, came with drama.
Freedom came calling, in strangeness
Mercy, prevented the serpent,
from caging me
We were good together
We were terrible in sin
No mercy in sight
condemnation holds sway
Grave pretty mistakes
Don't hate me, I come with succor
Fallen was human, but hurting was evil
Judge me, your sword drips with blood;
spilling hate, lies and mixed theories
Can your heart, forgive and love again?
We were good together
We were terrible in sin
No mercy in sight
condemnation holds sway
Grave pretty mistakes
God showed me mercy,
even though; HE cut me in the act.
Angels flapped wings, covered my enemies;
from seeing my short comings
We were good together
We were terrible in sin
No mercy in sight
condemnation holds sway
Grave pretty mistakes
I forgot myself, folded in sleep of falsehood
My candid resolve, was empowerment
How I sack love and friendship silly.
Another time, I will be naive,
to protect my friend
We were good together
We were terrible in sin
No mercy in sight
condemnation holds sway
Grave pretty mistakes
Goodbye, unforgiving lover,
driven by impatience and bitterness.
You meant more, than an act
Good bye, liar seductress!
Parting in tears, earned me freedom
