Crumbling Excitement

Lies began cutting ties
Knives became the way to survive
In this world of dead lives
The souls began to cry
War and famine striking cities
Oh why don’t we have pity
Generation from generation
We are all one nation
Fear strikes many
Sadness fills plenty
All the same
But who to blame
Trying to make the world a better place
Ends up with a depressing face
Always two sides to the story
The people always fight for glory
There’s no such thing as feeling homey
It all ends out as a phony
Victory become a desire
And with desire…starts a fire
