The poetry competition poem

Tull Blue 2000 (Hafer Al Batain)

This emptiness,
Is inescapable,
The air is cold,
The cat sings,
The rain buries;
My singed wings.

I am young,
And dying,
In a quite dream,
My reach is not
The horizon
But for the hoe.

I die tonight,
To die again tomorrow
And in this short poem
I
Have
Lived

About this poem

You could say Bukowski lead me here, I read a poem and it said nothing to me, maybe I am far dumber than my pride allows me to see; I thought. So, I came here to understand what that silence was, the poem's mute. (The Look: - Charles Bukowski). I need some money and some pride to hold on to so I conjured this SHIT out of thin air (it probably echoes Bukowski; the old fart) and it isn't the best but there is something in it that I myself don't want to know. It is a still night, after the rain in Kerala.
