Sorrow
Sorrow
So intense and overwhelming is your burden on my heart and soul.
Your smothering darkness and emptiness
tear at every fiber of my being.
Oh how I wish you, Sorrow would set me free
from your overpowering painful grip.
My Lord, Please give me the strength to hold
my head high under this Sorrow.
Please hold out your strong hands to me and
lift me out of this deep dark hole.
Show me the path to light so I might see
my way through this pain.
Oh Lord, with all my inner strength, I ask you
“How do I release Sorrows firm hold on me?”
I pray to you, my Lord and Savior, lift my spirits
and cast out my Sorrow.
Only with your unconditional love and support can
I ever be free from my Sorrow.
GO AWAY SORROW
There is no place for you here.
Lord, with your help, I will be free to worship you and only you
and with your light as my guide,
and your love as my strength,
and your strength as my safety net.
I crush you, Sorrow and cast you out
In the name of God.
Only with God I am Free
Goodbye Sorrow
Thank You, My Lord
