Garden Rose.

Mosehla Tsebagae Phanwell 1998 (Ga-Mogashoa, Limpopo)

Grow as an ornamental in the garden of my heart,
Blossom your beauty in every corner of my mind,
Bloom your scent and be the fragrance my nasals elate to.
Be the symbol of elegance and exuberance,
Be the meaning of 12 red roses to me and to my heart.
Let me feed you the purity of clean waters,
Let me prune your dying leaves and branches,
Please do not sharpen your prickles,
I bring no harm to you.

Let me be your morning sunshine
And feed you rays of life.
Smile at me from your heart and
Let me, make you my only Garden rose!

About this poem

I wrote this poem as a story of a young man endearing a young lady to be his lover. The lady here is compared to a garden rose because of her beauty. I love the romantic ambience of every love story.
