Dominion

According to the myth of man
he is the dominant sex.
God gave him woman as his own
and on her, placed a hex.

And in the story that man wrote,
woman caused the fall of man
So now it's up to him to be
her master, if he can.

But when her talents outshine his
and she shows her mind is bright
and that she stand for right and truth,
man trembles in his fright.

He can't shut down her brilliant mind
nor defeat her honest soul,
so he does the only thing he can
to regain complete control.

Since he can't tell her what to think,
her uterus he'll claim,
making laws to keep her home
and under his domain.
