moving on 2

i take a deep breath and relax into all that i am.
the sky filled with the same tree leaves i look up to every day.
i may be leaving soon, and i have never left this town.
every heart break, every love, every big moment, every dance has been building itself within these walls.
Change has struck this town like lighting.
I close my eyes and sink deeper into the ground, alive in my body, i know that without change i wouldn't be here.
i won't ever leave this moment, wherever i go.
with the loves that i lost, will i still dream of them?
or will there be something new.
opportunity. chance. i want to embrace this. all of it.
maybe those feelings could return but do i still need to chase for them? Should i stay looking or is it holding me back.
I want to fill my mind with new ideas and room for creation but the thought of you lingers.
i know it probably doesn't matter and it probably hasn't for a while now but ever since that night i haven't stopped thinking about you.
i know it will never be the same as it once was, and that is okay because every moment has led up to now.
