The Slippery Slope

The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v Wade.
You say so what, let the states decide women’s fate.
The Red states want to jail women
who get an abortion.
They ban abortions with no exception.
Will they jail women who miscarry?
They want to jail women who go out of state
to get an abortion.
You say it doesn’t affect me.
Which freedom will be the next to go?
SC Justice Clarence Thomas wants to overturn
gay people’s right to marry next.
Republicans have declared gay people and
transgender people abominations.
Will they go after freedom of religion, speech,
or protesting next?
Will they make the US an autocracy or a theocracy?
If they make the U.S. a theocracy, which
religion will we have to join?
Will we have to be Southern Baptist, Episcopalian,
Methodist or Catholic?
If we don’t join a state religion,
will we be jailed?
This is what fascism looks like.
I say vote blue to “Stop the Steal” of
our rights before it’s too late!
