An ode to demise
The death is surely fated,
It may knock the door in any way,
Either early or belated,
And there be left nothing but a clay
The dreams and ambitions cease then,
Rest shall thou in eternal peace when,
Thy spirit will elsewhere reside,
Besides any grief; shall it abide,
Thy fame and name shall be of no use,
Neither shall thy luxuries amuse,
All thy worldly desires shall reduce,
And then thy soul shall peacefully recluse,
This would be an endless sleep,
When only the beloved will weep,
It shall make every soul creep,
And then everyone shall ponder deep.
