Clearing Once Blurred Visions

Never has a vivid focus,
Come to clear wrongs to right them...
Overnight without insight.
Or time to sit,
Self evaluating....
One's unconsciousness to admit,
The uselessness of past experiences.
Done to commit.
As if what one does,
Has meaning and purpose.
Until that meaning and purpose,
Valued to have has lost its worth.

Youthful endeavors,
Don't last forever.
And growing up to become an adult,
Is a serious undertaking.
There is no safety nets or excuses to make.
Claimed to believe,
Denial to live...
Performing juvenile activities.
Will remain to stay judged,
As a thing all kids do.

However...
Once one becomes an adult?
Becoming responsible and accountable,
For what one does to do?
Seems to be these days to be shared,
By the ones locked up in prison cells.
With time to think,
About things they have done.
Not only to themselves but to others as well.
Knowing to discover,
A Hell to create with it done to dwell in...
Only fools would do.
To prove who they are to be!

Clearing once blurred visions.
With a wish to want,
To make valid contributions...
Done to uplift their own communities.
As an example to show,
Those still young...
Being ignorant, stupid and dumb,
Has no benefit at all.
For consequences and a price to pay,
Leaving no one heard to say...
How proud they are,
To be idiots.
And not participants,
In creating the best quality of life to live!

'Didn't you use to swagger around town,
Thinking you were ALL OF THAT and more?
Why are you now,
Picking up garbage and trash off the streets.
How can you allow yourself,
To stoop so low.
A long time ago,
This would have been beneath you.'

'Whose town is this?
To claim turf with trash and filth,
Scattered all around it?
Is it not yours and mine?'

'Uh...
Yeah.
I guess.'

'Well...
I've stopped guessing.
And...
Today,
The only thing I want to claim...
Is being proud enough of it,
To bend over and pick up trash...
Leaving no one to attempt or believe,
I am also the trash...
You throw in the street to leave.
If you want to have that as your identity?
That's your business.
Not mine to think it productive!'

'Whew!
What happened to you?'

'Awareness.
And lots of time to examine,
Fools are not born.
But made to create them.
Not for my benefit nor for yours!'
