So you hope?

So you hope?
So you choke?
So you don’t think life a joke.
So you must hear words slow.
So then let me give you some words you should probably know.

The sun never lost, but left hours ago.
The moon but a dawn of time.
The earth a choking rhyme.
The universe a collection of moments, and lies.

What to you does this mean, a crime?
Just another lost soul found in the summertime.
Cold as the winter's edge made in hopes of other lives.
In fall's eyes you lie, the breeze the only thing left to find.

Though in spring your corpse hangs for others to hide.
Under inches men, and women confide.
Tulips cover a dream built upon lies.
Though maybe that dream was all we could see coincide.
So you hope?
