Make It To Heaven

MAKE IT TO HEAVEN

TO LIVE FOR JESUS AND SERVE HIM IS THE DESIRE OF MY HEART.
NO LONGER ALLOWING THE DEVIL TO TEAR MY WORLD APART.
WALKING WITH MY HEAD HELD HIGH AND HIS WORD HIDDEN IN MY HEART.
ENCOUNTERING EACH DAY… BEING THANKFUL FOR A NEW START.
GOD’S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT AND HIS WORD IS TRUE.
HIS MERCY BLESSES US DAILY WITH LIFE BRAND NEW.
NO MATTER WHAT WE DO WE CAN NEVER REPAY THE PRICE HE PAID NAILED TO THE CROSS.
IF HE HAD NOT SHED HIS BLOOD ALL OUR SOULS WOULD BE LOST.
HE LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR A NOBODY LIKE YOU AND LIKE ME.
GIVING UP THE GHOST SO OUR SOULS COULD BE FREE.
I’M JUST A NOBODY ASKING YOU TO PEASE LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY.
JESUS DIED AND ROSE AGAIN THAT WE MAY HAVE A CHANCE AT HEAVEN ONE DAY.

About this poem

I wrote this poem when I was trying to encourage myself. Sometimes that is what we need to do, encourage ourselves as much as we encourage others.
