In the end

•                  In The End                 •

I thought the world was my friend
But in the end it's my worst enemy

I thought friends made me feel lively
But in the end they made me feel deathly

I thought he made me feel special
But in the what was I for him? Just a disgraceful visual?

I thought I'll make memories with you
But in the end you flew away even before I could

I thought parents were our secret keepers
But in the end they're the people secrets are kept from

I thought I'll live a beautiful life
But in the end I held a bloody knife

I thought I was happy as a dove when I looked up at the bright sky
But in the end I cried like a wingless angel in the cold dark nights

I thought everything would go my way
But in the end the world just kissed me goodbye

I felt like I lost everything
But did I ever own anything in the first place?
