May I have the power

As I sit here now
In the silver days
Of my wise years
I so do wish
Those future years from now
That I could see years beyond
For the days to come
That you are healthy and wise
Well mannered correctly
For the world
Waits before you
Unknown to you or me
For today and tomorrow
Is yet to be said
Chances and changes
Is yours to make
For the mole of your life
Is in your hands to break
May I have the power
To see you grow
To the most wonderful person
I know you will be.
