Haven

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

I love the rules you have given us
I glory in your presence
When you come and stand before me
In your law I sense your essence

I taste your words and they are sweet
A shelter in the fiercest storm
A light to shine upon my feet
They keep me safe and warm

Your precepts give me wisdom
Your statutes make me strong
When I do what you command
I never will be wrong

I glory in your presence
Your essence sustains my soul
When I bow before you
My body is made whole

To walk with the Lord is profit
In His Word!
