When you love someone
You have to give them time
When you love someone
Always remember to be patient and kind
When you love someone
You put them first
And never want them to be hurt
Love comes with pain
It's just part of the game
When you love someone
You give them your heart
With hope they don't tear it apart
People come and go
But with you
I want you to forever stay
If I could have it my way
I think about you every night and day
Your love has gotten a hold of me
And I can't leave you be
Your always on my mind
All the time
When you love someone
Your soul becomes attached to theirs
So close to one another
Nothing else matters
When you love someone
You don't care about fun and games
You make yourself ready for the real thing
When you love someone
You accept their flaws
After all nobody is perfect after all
So take my hand
Together we'll stand
And let's show the world what it looks like
When you love someone
