Life is a twisted melody
of curiosity and tragic past
days that seem they have no end
and those that can never last

Lies can seem like a sweet escape
but escape is not the key

Night sky devours the light
While truth blinds in the dark
But light fuels a raging fire
When in darkness it was only a spark

Harmony and bleach-white skin
Present a faulty disguise
Your lies won’t last, you can’t run from your past
Ego and toxicity, your demise

Living life as a dream
is death to all that remains
Wake up to the present nightmare
And dodge the oncoming train

Perverse and blood-soaked, but awake
What lies here is only the truth
Healing can truly begin now
