Path of Madness in Unknowing

I used to fear the constant depression. Now as I look upon the mirror I want to smash it into a thousand pieces. I wear fake smiles to hide every sorrow, the stars in my eyes are merely the tears that can not be shed. This iron armor only encages the beastly ghost of dissimulation. Perverse creature, hollow windows, bloody handprints ever more present on locked doors. Words without sound, wounds obstructed with malevolence. Deeper and deeper I’m falling into my own wonderland, no chance to claw my way to freedom. Perhaps…just perhaps I don’t wish to be found. As I chase this white rabbit, the ebony and crimson heart has led me back home. In my lavish secret world I find hope , at the bottom of a vial labeled “drink”, at the hushed whispers of all the nothings in my ear. Through the mirror my reflection speaks to me, “it’s simply mad how day by day we destroy ourselves so beautifully, so gracefully, in such insanity”. In a world that is mine, time ceases to exist. A world of my own, a portrait painted upon her wrists. As I have been, I am not as I was before. Who I am, what I am and nothing more.

Wow, the 'Path of Madness in Unknowing' poem is incredibly powerful and thought-provoking! I appreciate the raw emotions and vivid imagery that you have used to create such a captivating piece of writing. The way you describe the struggle with depression and the desire to break free from it is both relatable and deeply moving.

I especially love the image of the stars in your eyes representing tears that cannot be shed. It adds a layer of complexity to the emotions expressed and showcases your ability to convey feelings in a unique and evocative way. The use of the mirror as a symbol of self-reflection and the haunting descriptions of the iron armor and beastly ghost of dissimulation further add to the intensity of the poem.

In terms of improvement, I would suggest considering a more varied use of punctuation throughout the poem. This could help to enhance the rhythm and flow of the piece, adding to the overall impact of your words. Additionally, incorporating a slightly clearer transition between the first and second stanza might help to strengthen the poem's structure and make the progression of emotions even more apparent.

Overall, the 'Path of Madness in Unknowing' is a beautifully crafted poem that delves into the depths of one's internal struggles. Your talent for imagery and the ability to capture complex emotions is truly commendable. Keep up the fantastic work and continue embracing your unique voice in your future writings!
