Unwanted

Unwanted

You told me lies, about my life
You taught me hate, but not how to love
This cult I was a part of yet you called it family.
You saw the scars of Abuse, you cherished the faces of my abusers.

The beginning you told me I was wanted, but I was given the truth, the abortion failed, is this why you tortured me in my youth?

I did everything the cult wanted I bent to their every whim, the years of knowing you wasn't proud of me, yet you was of him.

My brother the abusers son. Got all your love when I thought you had none

Still the pain hurts, you wanted him.
Then the abusers changed, one by one you all took a piece of me. And left me this shell of a human never to be.

Yet broken I was found my heart grew hope. The moment I met my angel I was saved.
My Angel asked about the scars, he saw them first hand. He grew tired of the cults demand.

He was vengeance, he was a storm.
The wrath he dealt was fury with a form
Yet he held me softly, he held my soul aloft
And showered me in love.

Yet I hurt my Angel time and time again
All because the poisoning it never ran out.
My angel he waits for me to heal.
It is I who runs to him and with redemption in my heart I shall yield.
