The Capitalist Enterprise System in Our Entertainment

Ian McCleary 1992 (Morris Plains, NJ)

From the same mouth, the monsters drink. Taking no risk.
The book that is produced into a movie which becomes the material for a Broadway show.
The all to easy marketing strategy is now the current entertainment of America.
Sadly.
The Disneyfication of other studios of other movies.
The same product year after year, getting worse, and still watched by children and families countrywide.
When they are older... my hope
they will pick up on this pattern, this decline in imagination.
And take it to where it needs it's release from bondage.

About this poem
