These things!!

These things!!

----

Yesterday you were wandering between
the shores of love in my heart, my eyes, my blood
and among my papers,
but I do not confess or declare.

You ask me, I say:
Flattery is not the nature of the lovers.
Yesterday I wasn't poor, I was in love,
I hid my love; they envy the rich.
Today not me, or my poems, or of the arrogance
 that remains in my blood.
We are not the ones who left.
You are the one who changed the terms
of the contract.
We are still  innocent!!

We no longer have a place in the night cafés.
Try to go down the city streets once,
at night or in the day,
you will know,
we no longer have a decision
and that which leads us away
from the shores of intimacy and love:
these things!
Yes, yes, you, who were mine yesterday,
these things!

They are looking for you in my eyes
and looking for me in your eyes.
They know that you do not depart me,
Or let me down,
And surely, I do!!
I do not say poetry but I just tell
what just happened,
If they want to know, let them search,
and be content and do not care.

All I try to do is to make (the simile),
 (As if I am)
or: (As if you are)
My longing maybe for (what was)
to calm down for some time,
or:
Living with the memories,
may the nails of the days come to satisfy
of what they took from me.
