Freako
The dying echo of a faded scream
I must be dreaming of a life that i'll never see
I may seem perfect but ain't noting what it seems
There was a time in my life where my mind felt happy
Now I'm on the outside lookin watchin' everybody pass me
People think I'm weird, but they're the ones who ain't grasping
That my psychosis leaves me crying and dying and gasping
Its true, I may be psychologically ill
But I still got a life, I can still neurologically feel
Its not my fault I see things that aren't logically real
You can't understand how an apology would feel
I keep on pushing myself
I keep on trying to help
People who just want my material wealth
People don't give a f*ck about my mental health
My mom don't care bout the bad cards I was dealt
My dad told, "Take a look at yourself,
You're up to your knees in percriptions
You ain't nothing more than a bad decision"
I ran to my room and made the hundreth insision
Razors and box cutters crusted with blood
Surrounded by hallucinations that I know ain't more than figments
Of my tormented soul
That won't never be whole
I isolate like a mole
I dug myself into a hole
I take an eye for an eye,
Turned myself into a spy
An eye for an eye for a lie,
Or a lie for the tears that I cried
People watching me
They're always watching me
They take one look and then they mock me
But if I try to kill myself they stop me(why?)
Can't even count my damn calories
Packaged rotten food in a psych ward
Bad hand writing on a white board
24/7 life guards
won't fix the screaming in my head
like life would
I just feel like I am on a rampage and the souls I was seeing
Told me I was more than a physical being
Now tell me, what was I supposed to be thinking?
The voices in my head keep growing and shrinking.
Now I'm gonna wrap this up,
Thank you for your time,
But before you go, listen to this line:
I may be crazy but this ain't the old age
All those things you hear about schizos, they're just cliches
So please think, before you run away
We're all just humans tryna make our own way.
