Childhood

CHILDHOOD
Should I say I am lucky or it's fate?
That I was born into my family,
That my days as a kid occured here,
In this humble abode and amidst my lovable family.
My journey so far has been blissful,
It has indeed got highs and lows,
But all the same, those days,
Remain the best of all.

I could never erase all the memories,
Of me living carefree and free hearted,
No bad energy nor any form of hate,
Just me being me.
Indeed I can spell it out,
That my days as a kid and,
Growing up into being an adult,
Is indeed a shareable story.

Tell me of your own childhood days,
And I will tell you of mine

About this poem

This poem is a brief throwback to how my childhood days were, how my family made it interesting and how surreal and warm my home was and is still is. Also I'm asking that my audience tell me of their childhood days and I will tell them of mine as well.
