Soliloquizing

Listening to resonates of an impending storm,
From across a bridge,
that's pilings are worn.

As tempests rage and clouds moved in,
Sequestered sunshine
Begins to dim.

Rays of brightness dare not hide,
The rustling leaves, twigs, and branches,
Clearing a path to the other side.

Flowing beneath the winds that carry them on,
To places before seen, destination unknown.
A creek of the pilings begin to warn.

Torrent rains mercifully bounce back music,
Gentle on the ears,
As once static filled visions begin to clear,

Lightning strikes with echoes of bold blues and greens,
To temper the glimpses of the brightest colors seen.
A reminder to comprehend not define what they mean

Because those caressing wind's whispers
That today seem beautifully serene,
Often flow among the tones of moisture filled streams....
