WALKING ALONE

Walking Alone
Walking down the familiar path
I heard your voice...
Turning to see your face
only the warmth of the wind.
Closing my eyes
I felt you touch my cheek.
the way you always did.
Falling rain
speaks in your voice...
Silently watching the raindrops fall
waiting for you to come to me...
I held you close in my heart today
it made me feel complete.
You may have died...
but you are not gone
you will always be a part of me.
As long as the wind blows ...
the rain falls...
You will live on inside of me forever
for that is all my heart knows
